Asset Performance Optimization

Our focus is on five(5) key areas: Asset Performance Management, Asset Life-cycle Monitoring, Predictive Maintenance, Automation and Real-Time Monitoring. We are competent in tools such as Tableau and Power BI to allow effective data representation for ease of decision making.

Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and PMO

Our classic RCM methodology is developed to meet SAE JA1011 assessment criteria to be considered a Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) process. We may elect, in collaboration with Client, that a PMO (Preventive Maintenance Optimization) approach is more appropriate for a situation. Our PMO methodology is detailed in the ten (10) step process in our EaglePMO.

Our maintenance strategy development process considers the seven (7) RCM questions. The detailed process is explained in our IngweAMPD Process.

Risk Based Inspections

Our decision-making methodology for optimizing inspection plans is based on API 581, considering acceptable levels of the risk of failure and then developing inspection and repair procedures to ensure that the level of risk is below that acceptance limit. Key considerations are the health, safety and environment and business risk of ‘active’ and ‘potential’ damage mechanisms to assess and rank failure probability and consequence.

AM Training Facilitation

We offer training in a number of subject areas out of the 39 in the GFMAM Framework. Some of the key training areas include: Maintenance work management, RCM methodology and maintenance plans development and Reliability engineering practices. We offer strong on the job knowledge and skills transfer in areas like GRAP17 Compliant Asset Registers, Asset Condition Assessments and Data Analytics.

Asset Management Improvement and Reliability Maturity Assessments

A maturity assessment is a strategic diagnostic tool that helps organizations understand where they stand, where they need to be, and how to get there. It is essential for improving asset reliability, optimizing lifecycle costs, and aligning with global asset management standards.

We perform asset management improvement and reliability maturity assessments to help organizations understand how capable their asset management systems are, how they compare to global best practices, and what steps are needed to improve performance, reliability, and compliance.

Asset Condition Assessments

Asset condition assessments are essential for maximizing asset value, extending lifecycle, and reducing operational risks. They enable informed decisions about maintenance, replacement, and capital investment.

GRAP 17 Compliant Asset Register Development

Generally accepted accounting practices (GRAP) 17 specifically pertains to Property Plant and Equipment (PPE). Organizations are required to keep an updated Fixed Asset Register (FAR) with details including condition and value of the asset. We technically evaluate and verify assets and give a full report on their condition and estimated replacement values.

Maintenance Readiness Assessments and Programmes

We perform a comprehensive assessment which evaluates whether all elements required for effective maintenance are in place before operations begin. Key elements included are:

1. Maintenance strategy & Planning
2. Asset Information & Documentation
3. Maintenance Logistics
4. Condition Assessment & Verification
5. Safety, Compliance & Environmental Readiness

Maintenance Audits and Independent Validations

We perform independent validation of maintenance audits performed by internal teams in an organization and ensure alignment with ISO55000 and SAE JA1011 Criteria for RCM Programmes.

Our Approach

Our approach is collaborative in nature with intent to give decision makers insights into what drives performance of their assets with the aim of achieving repeatable, predictable and cost-effective results. We understand that every organization is unique, so we take time to analyze the organization's business objectives and asset management specific objectives and strategies. We perform a maturity assessment on asset management practices and benchmark against best practices in the ten (10) key asset management subjects from the GFMAM Framework. Based on the identified gaps we then develop tailored strategies and unique plans that deliver measurable improvements. Our Asset management improvement and reliability maturity assessment (AMIRMA) is an objective assessment methodology we use. Our approach emphasizes our commitment to partnership ensuring sustainable asset reliability and performance for our Clients.
